LC 2002: Translucent Spatial Light Modulator
The LC 2002 Spatial Light Modulator is our standard "Plug & Play LCD device" for prototyping and research in various fields such as machine vision, digital holography or technical optics. The device contains a Sony SVGA (800x600 pixels) liquid crystal microdisplay and drive electronics in a compact box. It can be easily used with a standard personal computer by plugging the device directly to the VGA graphics card. The compact design and the transmissive display makes implementation into your setup very easy.

The LC 2002 Spatial Light Modulator can be used for phase and amplitude modulation. High transmittance and high contrast of the Sony LC panel guarantee an excellent image quality. The LC 2002 can be delivered as amplitude and also as phase modulating device. Versions with higher resolution (e.g. XGA) are available on board level.
